iTRACE UNIVERSITY
THE ONLINE LEARNING PROGRAM FROM TRACEY TECHNOLOGIES
Hello!

Welcome to iTrace University! We will be sending you routine emails with varied-length videos from iTrace Experts, previous Educational Events, and all new information so you can learn all that you want to about using the iTrace to build your practice. Look at the notes below to get the most from each teaching.

This 18 minute video features Mark Blecher, M.D. of Will's Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and he shares how the iTrace is used to solve post-op issues with diffractive optic IOLs .

THINGS TO LOOK FOR IN THIS TEACHING:
  1. Note how Dr. Blecher takes several matching Wave Front and Corneal Topography exams. This rules out machine or operator error or dry eye variability.
  2. The iTrace is the only machine that quickly sorts out post-op issues, but sometimes there is more than one, like in this case.

THINGS TO CONSIDER WHILE YOU ARE WATCHING:
  1. How can I confirm the optical center of the implanted IOL?
  2. How much residual cylinder is acceptable when I'm using diffractive IOLs?
  3. When is the best time to rotate an off-axis lens?
  4. Will the iTrace help me determine the source of post-op dysphotopsia?
  5. What is my personal cutoff for Angle Alpha?
  6. Can I use the iTrace to improve confidence with premium IOLs?

THINGS TO CONSIDER STUDYING IN YOUR PRACTICE:
  1. What is the average Angle Alpha of multifocal patients in your practice that are not happy with the outcome of their surgery?
  2. What is the average rotation suggested by Toric Check on all of your Multifocal Toric cases? Does this coincide with which patients are seeing the best?
