The Carnevale di Venezia is a public festival in the Italian city of Venice. The Venetian Carnival is an international event becoming more and more important each year thanks to the participation of thousands of people who gather in the Venetian streets and squares. Carnevale typically involves public celebrations, parades, and public street parties. People often dress up with costumes during the celebrations. Specifically masks in Venice where they originated. It is not surprising that Carnevale is also associated with some traditional culinary delicacies, and it’s in this tradition that the Il Carnevale di Venezia wines were created.

iL Carnevale di Venezia Pinot Grigio Country: Italy Region: Veneto Varietal: 100% Pinot Grigio Alcohol: 12% Tasting Notes: A delightful white wine produced in the Veneto region in North-East Italy, home to some of the most crisp and refreshing Pinot Grigio grapes on earth. Straw-coloured tending to greenish, with a typical intense fruity bouquet, and a dry, fresh and pleasant taste. Pairing: Ideal on its own as an aperitif or with starters, fresh vegetables, fish and shellfish, risotto. Serve at a temperature of approximately 55°- 60°

iL Carnevale di Venezia Chianti DOCG Country: Italy Region: Tuscany Varietal: 80% Sangiovese, 20% Canaiolo nero, Trebbiano, Toscano-Malvasia del Chianti. Alcohol: 12% Tasting Notes: A characteristic full bodied red wine produced in sunny Toscana Hills, in North-West Italy, where ideal growing conditions produce wines that are pleasant on the palate and robust in flavor. Brilliant ruby-red colour, with purplish reflections. Vinous, intense, aromas of violet. Dry and savory. Pairing: A perfect complement to first courses, roast and red meats, games and hard cheeses. Serve at a temperature of approximately 62°- 67° F

iL Carnevale di Venezia Rosso Semidolce Country: Italy Region: Emilia Romagna Varietal: 100% Sangiovese. Alcohol: 11% Tasting Notes: A semi-sweet and aromatic red wine produced in the Reggio Emilia region in Northern Italy. Fruity, yet balanced and elegant with accentuated red and black fruit notes. Pairing: Ideal on its own as an aperitif, can pair well with spicy foods and tomato based dishes. Add cut up fruit and a splash of brandy the chilled Rosso for an easy sangria. Serve at 42–46 °F
