News: Eddie Kang Convicted of Fraud

Edward Kang, otherwise known as Eddie Kang, who scammed tens of thousands of dollars from innocent migrant hopefuls, has been found guilty on all of the 21 counts of fraud he was charged with.

Eddie Kang is on bail and will be sentenced in March 2017. Many of those poor victims are hoping that a jail sentence will be imposed. We will let you know when the sentencing hearing is finalised next year.

The Department of Fair Trading contacted us today to let us know the result and thanked us for our support in getting this case to court.

A very special note should be made for those victims who were brave enough to testify against Kang and persevered for years to see this day where justice has been ruled in their favour.
