Players of The Week
Kyle "Community"

Kyle was chosen for our core value of "Community" due to his kindness and community focused mindset. Kyle plays on our U16 Arsenal team and loves the thrill of competition. He enjoys playing defense and his favorite subject at school is P.E.

"(Kyle is) Always early and always helps clean up after practice and games. Without being asked. He also helps clean up after other teams and put equipment away whether home or away game. This is the same at school. Helping teachers and kids where he can. He is happy to do so too! - Coach King

Congratulations Kyle!
Lauren "Leadership"

For the week of "Leadership" Lauren was selected as someone who displays this as a player and teammate. Lauren plays for the U10 Zooming Zebras and loves soccer because she gets to meet new people, enjoys practice and helping her team during games. She likes all positions, but goalie is her favorite.

"At the last game she did an awesome job playing goalie for her first time. Although she took a ball to the face right while warming up, she still went in and was able to block all the shots.
We are so proud of her for trying something that scares her. This is her very first time playing fall soccer. Lauren always listens at practice and tries her best. This makes her a great leader for Zooming Zebras!”  -Coach Alison Pschier

Way to go Lauren!

Teams give back to the community

One of the Fusion core values is "Pride" in our communities and our teams enjoy giving back. Danni RaBon's teams are a great example of this core value. Danni's 2010 Gold, 2011 Maroon, 2012 Gold and 2014 Gold girls took time to give back to Kids Against Hunger by making 9,720 meals together. Way to go girls!!

Fusion Cup Recap
The Simpsons
Goats
Fusion Cup
Our U12 Rec teams wrapped up their 2022 season competing for the Fusion Cup Nov 11-13.

There was a lot of energy from the fans thanks to the exciting play on the field. The games were held on the turf at Robertson Park, with many games under the lights, and a few ending in dramatic fashion with a shootout.

The championship game started with an international walkout, and all teams played incredibly well. The competition was fierce, but in the end the Simpsons and Goats won their championship games. Congratulations are also due to the runner up teams: boys Team #6 and girls Fire Starters.

Great job to all our teams on a fantastic fall season!
