Greetings!
Oppps…. is that the Wind or is it the Spirit Moving Me?
The experience of the disciples in the upper room that first Easter night as described in our gospel for this weekend is comparable to ours today. Like the disciples who were locked in the upper room because of fear, we too have been in a similar situation. The pandemic has “locked” us in our own upper room for fear of the virus. Like the disciples, we too experience confusion, disappointment, impatience, and hopelessness. But the Risen One knows what we go through in life. Hence, the Lord continues to be with us to guide us and strengthen us in the midst of this difficult time. Read more...
Please join us for Mass. Read on for details on our new Mental Health Ministry, Cub Scout Troop meeting and more.
God Bless,
Fr. Ritche

Pentecost
Today, we are celebrating the great Solemnity of Pentecost. Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI said, if, in a certain sense, all the liturgical solemnities of the Church are important, Pentecost is uniquely so. This is because, having reached the 50th day, it marks the fulfilment of the event of the Passover, death and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus through the gift of the Spirit of the Risen One.
