Everyone meet our furry friend Hunter! Hunter is an IMPD K9, that was bought and donated by kNot Today. Hunter specializes in Electronic Detection (ED) and is only 1 of 2 dogs in Indiana that specializes in this field. Hunter and his handler, Officer Odier, are going to play a huge role in our prevention efforts. We are excited to announce that Hunter is graduating to full service ED K9 on March 12th!
These beautiful paintings, hanging up in the kNot Today Headquarters, were designed by Heather Batchelor. Heather Batchelor is a very talented artist, and part of her proceeds go to help out kNot Today! We encourage you to take some time to look at the variety of artwork she has to offer.
kNot Today exists to generate awareness, initiate prevention strategies, and assist in the development of innovative healing programs for sexually abused and exploited children.
Awareness

Prevention

  • Aligned with Hamilton County Sheriffs Office and their new Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Task Force
  • Guide coming in June for parent/child education
  • Our dog Hunter's graduation to full service ED K9
Restoration

  • Purchased and maintain 17,000sf building on Indianapolis’ near East side to support a local service provider in providing best practice restorative care to transition children into happy, healthy adults.
Volunteer Opportunity!

Community Awareness Event. April 10th, 10:00am-2:00pm. Fairmount, Indiana
Many of you have shown interest in volunteering, and we appreciate your willingness to help! April 10th we are running a community awareness event in the town of Fairmount, and we need your help! We will be seeking volunteers for set up, teardown, running organized games, manning donations, and taking on jewelry / apparel sales. Please reach out to "[email protected]" with your name and email, and put "Fairmount Volunteer" in the subject line if you are interested. Even showing up to the event is a big help!
