Hello! My name is Brenna. I attend the kidsLINK Afterschool Program at Belgrade Middle School. My favorite subject in school is gym because I love being active! My favorite sport is volleyball. What I love about kidsLINK are all the arts and crafts projects. It's nice to do an activity at the end of the day that is relaxing and fun. I also love the new charlie cart (mobile kitchen)! It has really helped me learn to enjoy cooking more - especially baking! When I grow up I want to be an art teacher or a math teacher. kidsLINK has been a great experience for me!
THANK YOU
First Security Bank Foundation
for investing in kidsLINK Afterschool!
Greater Gallatin United Way received a generous donation of $15,000 from First Security Bank Foundation to help fund kidsLINK Afterschool programs in outlying communities. First Security Bank funds will also provide professional development opportunities for staff in these rural afterschool programs.

Morning Star Elementary and Belgrade Middle School kidsLINK Afterschool Programs are excited to partner with the Montana STEM Academy of Young Kids!
Montana STEM Academy of Young Kids launched in 2015 with a goal to introduce STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education among kids at much earlier stages of their lives to inspire interest in becoming the next doctors, engineers, scientists, data analysts or researchers.
Programs are filled with technical and scientific information to teach kids a wide range of concepts such as developing websites and computer games, building molecules, robotic design, java programming, fishbone diagramming, 5-why analysis, and much more. Programs provide hands-on experience with a focus on critical thinking and analysis, as well as technical skills; blending arts and technology in the teaching methodology.
Reteka Singh helped launch a six week Web Development Class on March 21st for Belgrade Middle Schoolers attending kidsLINK Aterschool Program. Every Tuesday, Reteka works with students on a variety of interactive lessons. As students become more comfortable with the co
mputer, they will begin developing their own website.
Reteka also brought STEM enrichment activities to kidsLINK Afterschool Program at Morning Star Elementary. Students studied atoms and molecules, actually building their own molecular models.
