lemonade...  good news from newport

october 2017                                                issue #99

Sally Brown
Hello lemonheads!

Again this year, as I await the great pumpkin my thoughts wander... this is lemonade issue #99... Columbus Day falls exactly on my birthday this year... My imagination stirs... I am inspired!

Columbus did not really "discover" America, but I'm going to focus on discovery this month. Will it lead to lemonade #100?  We shall see...

 and if you please...

The Newport Public Library Oscar Series continues this month with Manchester by the Sea on 10/13 and on 10/17, they kick off their Foreign Film Series with Two days, One Night. Broadway Street Fair On Saturday, 10/7, I encourage you to attend the  SECOND Annual Broadway Street Fair. This family-friendly day of music, great food, kids activities, art and dancing supports the mostly local community businesses of our vibrant "new" Broadway neighborhood. GO the Fair and stay a while-- grab a coffee, get a haircut, have lunch, shop for a vintage Halloween costume and treat yourself to a cupcake, ENJOY!
