mHealth top of the agenda at IMS MAXIMS User Group
Customers from across the UK gathered in London last week for another successful User Group meeting.
Hosted by our CMO & CCIO, Michael Thick and supported by members of the Board and staff from across the Product, Solutions and Operations teams, IMS MAXIMS worked closely with guests on their digital roadmaps and provided updates on exciting mHealth product developments due for release this year. Effective partnerships between supplier and provider to manage clinical safety and information governance also featured high on the agenda.
It was a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with our customers on our product, MAXIMS, and to explore how we can work together to support digital advancement across the NHS and the private sector.
Thank you to all of our customers that attended and provided such energy, enthusiasm and great ideas over the two days. We're looking forward to hosting the next User Group event in the Autumn.
Local and national NHS digital leaders and senior NHS executives came together, with IMS MAXIMS, to discuss and explore key aspects of the GDE programme at this year's DigitalHealth.net Leadership Summit.
Ten of the 16 appointed GDE sites presented on their roadmaps to digital excellence, including our customer Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. Attendees explored key aspects of the flagship programme, including funding, fast followers, connections to STPs and digital roadmaps, and links with other key digital initiatives.
Both our CEO, Shane Tickell and Chief Medical Officer and CCIO, Michael Thick took to the stage to present on the partnership relationship between provider and supplier, blueprinting success for fast followers and the £100 million investment from Government.
The inaugural Interop Summit in March bought together frontline staff, IT leaders, and software developers and suppliers to unlock the benefits of information sharing by developing a 'common language' for connecting care systems.
The two day educational Summit, sponsored by IMS MAXIMS, tackled key issues in advancing interoperability such as consent models, information governance, APIs, FHIR, SNOMED-CT and patient and public engagement, with presentations from leading thinkers and experts such as Professor Robert Wachter, Author of the
Review of Information Technology in the NHS.
Having worked closely with techUK on the development of the Interoperability Charter
