With spring FINALLY in bloom here in Boston, we sure APE-preciate the warmer weather – and now so can the gorilla troop at Franklin Park Zoo! The Zoo’s six gorillas – Little Joe, Kitombe, his mate Kiki, and their three kiddos, Kambiri, Azize, and baby Pablo – can now soak up the sunshine in their brand-spankin' new state-of-the-art outdoor habitat, which just debuted this month.
With leafy trees, a waterfall, climbing vines, and more, the Zoo’s gorillas are now truly #livingtheirbestlife (kinda sounds like a swanky vay-cay, if you ask us!). Best part? You can get up close and personal with these critically endangered creatures within the exhibit’s new central observatory, providing a 360-degree viewpoint of the entire space. Watch the gorillas climbing, playing, and monkey-ing around from within the exhibit while learning more about the greatest of all great apes.
