march 2024

Dear Marlo,

Hard to believe the first quarter of the year is wrapping up and, as promised, our March anniversary studio series ended with a bang! A huge thanks to the entire COJE team - Chris, Tom, Ray, Nick, Courtney, Lester, Tico, Cory, Brian, Miguel, and Mai - who pulled off an unbelievable dinner for 15 very lucky folks that raised $15,000 for Challenge Unlimited at Ironstone Farm.

If you wanted to come but couldn't quite swing the $1,000/head ticket, we see you and have a special surprise you'll absolutely love: our March anniversary Instagram giveaway offers two peeps the opportunity to win a $300 COJE gift card each, redeemable at any of their locations including Yvonne's, Mariel, Coquette, Lolita, RUKA, and more. The contest went live on 3.20 and closes 3.26 so head on over to @marlomarketing and you too can dine like a rockstar...without spending like one!

calise

Remember that time the world shut down and sourdough went viral? Yeah, us too. Between hours spent indoors and the need for a little at–home baking comfort, the sourdough obsession was #real. Well, luckily it’s 2024 and we’re putting our sourdough starters away forever and leaving it to the professionals with Calise Bakery’s new Sourdough Bulkie Roll.

That’s right, everyone’s favorite family bakery for over 115 years is expanding its line of signature rolls with a tangy on the inside, soft and chewy on the outside spin on one of its fan–faves. Think stacked cold cut sammies, savory break–wiches to start your day, or a classic cheeseburger with all the fixins’ just in time for #grillingseason (a.k.a the most wonderful time of year!).

So keep an eye out for the Sourdough Bulkie Roll at a Calise retailer near you starting early April; trust us, this sourdough rises to the occasion - no global pandemic required!

bully boy

Call us old fashioned, but any day is a bully good day when there’s whiskey involved (can you tell happy hour starts early with the marlo marketing crew?).

Enter Boston’s first (and best, IOHO) craft distillery Bully Boy Distillers, and their all–new Straight Bourbon Whiskey, the latest addition to their already expansive spirit portfolio. Meticulously crafted using substantial malted wheat (which truly ramps up the whiskey’s flavor and complexity – a very good thing!) and unique fermenting, distilling, and aging techniques, every sip is the perfect balance of aromatic, robust, and silky smooth.

Look for Bully Boy’s bourbon on shelves in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut starting this month with more availability and nationwide shipping coming soon. Be warned – don’t send a bottle to anyone you don’t want to show up on your doorstep for a visit; we think it’s pretty safe to say that after just one taste Beantown will be sure to give Louisville’s bourbon trail a run for its money.

castle hill inn
