Our Annual Meeting is Coming Up Soon -- Sign Up Now!

Be part of our 2025 Annual Meeting on October 4th at Mesa Community College!

Many of us have already registered, and we all look forward to getting together. Mesa Community College is located along Hwy 60 just east of Loop 101, on the East side of the Phoenix area. And don't forget, we always have a fun social on the Friday evening before the meeting! Links to details below.

A Special Word about our Friday Evening Social at Pedal Haus Brewery, 201 W Main St., Mesa

We are excited about our Friday evening social this year! We will have an area to ourselves at Pedal Haus, and we have arranged for a nice finger food buffet there, thanks to a supporting donation from our AZFO President. Soft drinks included; alcohol is on your own.

Turns out that hosting a private space is no longer easy and often costly. Until our Pres offered to support our social, we were reluctant to host one, to be honest. We hope you will put a bit in our donations jar when you get there to help our President subsidize the cost of this always-fun part of our annual gathering.

Logistics: Street parking along Main Street is typically FREE after 5 PM and on weekends.

Announcing our Mini Field Expeditions

Friday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 5th.

As most of you know, we offer our Mini Field Expeditions on the Friday before and the Sunday after the meeting date. This year, we've selected several hard-to-reach and by-permission locations in this east Phoenix region, in keeping with our mission of expanding the knowledge of the distribution of birds in our state.
