Grant award and upcoming events

I was so anxious waiting to be able to share the news about the Library receiving over $100,000 in grant funds, but between news releases and meetings the week got away from me and I wasn't able to put together this newsletter until now.

The grant funds are going to help us renovate our existing space to add meeting room pods and upgrade the equipment in our Memory Lab and Friends of the Library meeting room. These updates are essential for us to meet our community needs and we're incredibly excited for the next few months and years as we move forward with this project. We're still in the early stages, but keep an eye out for more details to come.

We've got several upcoming events, including our annual Halloween Trunk-or-Treat and our last Artist in Residence for 2024, Sandy Winkleman. All are welcome to attend the Halloween Trunk-or-Treat and anyone who wants to set up a table to hand out treats are encouraged to call the Library to reserve a spot. Sandy will be offering two classes where you can create a holiday ornament while learning how to make dot art!
