Greetings Harpists, Harpers, and Harp Lovers!
Louise Trotter Scholarship
The first Louise Trotter Scholarship was awarded at the Music for Healing and Transition Conference on June 18, 2020. Recipient is Professional Harpist Carolyn Mills from Wellington, New Zealand. Kay Martin , long time friend, supporter and caretaker for Louise, established the scholarship in Louise's name for members of Music For Healing and Transition. Kay Martin is a Certified Music Practitioner with MHTP. MHTP founder Martha Lewis worked with Kay to establish the scholarship. Both were students and friends of Louise. Kay was blessed to play for Louise just a few hours before Louise passed away. The Virtual MHTP conference has been going on for the past 2 days. It ends today. For more information please see MHTP.org.

The Enchanted Village Ensemble Book by Anna Thormahlen Jenkins
ALL HARPS EASY ENSEMBLE The Enchanted Village was a real place where Jenkins lived. Her harp studio entrance was a world of tinkling wind chimes, tweeting birds, a bubbling fountain, and the sounds of the lake just steps away. This book is inspired by those students at that point in time.
Anna Thormahlen Jenkins
Anna taught from the Enchanted Village, a family home which, when she describes it, sounds like a fairy tail home. Reba says the book is excellent. Reba is our proof reader, and she doesn't miss a thing. When Reba says it's good - it is good.

Mary Lloyd's Music now available in digital format.
Mary K. Lloyd (now Mary Lloyd Richards) has been a music lover and musician for most of her life, having sung in church choirs and as a soloist since her teenage years. She studied with classically-trained harpist Jirong Ye. She plays and sings with a church-based ensemble, Grace Notes; in a duo called Kindred Spirits with a good friend; and also with an early music group, the St Cecilia Consort in College Station TX.
Mary is a composer, poet, and lyricist. She is Composer in Residence for First Christian Church of Bryan-College Station.
On May 25, 2013, she married her "A Chara mo chroí" - the "Friend of her heart," Robert Richards. The wedding music was comprised mostly of songs that she, and her Kindred Spirit Cheryl, had written over the preceding year. The bride and groom sang, as part of their vows, a duet Mary had written especially for the occasion.
