VOTE NO on PROP A

SAAA urges you to vote AGAINST Prop A and talk to your family, friends, neighbors, and professional peers and encourage them to vote AGAINST Prop A, too.

Prop A has several different provisions packaged as a single amendment to the City Charter. While not all of the provisions are harmful, some of them could increase crime rates and make citizens and local businesses open targets for predatory criminals.

The San Antonio Apartment Association Board of Directors are most concerned that the charter amendment will prevent police from arresting thieves, burglars, and vandals.

Certain simple assault and family violence charges will also fall under the cite and release expansion Prop A mandates.

SAAA urges you to vote AGAINST Prop A and talk to your family, friends, neighbors, and professional peers and encourage them to vote AGAINST Prop A, too.
