Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand
Prayer of the Day
O God, powerful and compassionate, you shepherd your people, faithfully feeding and protecting us. Heal each of us, and make us a whole people, that we may embody the justice and peace of your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
From the Council
Parking Lots
Both parking lots at OSLC will get an overdue restriping starting July 27. They will need one day of prep, one day to do the work, and a day for it to “dry”, which puts the lots out of commission from 7/27-7/29. On street parking is always available.
July Fellowship Forum
We will hold our July Fellowship Forum on Sunday, July 25, in the Fireside room after our 9:30 a.m. church service. Please join us for an update on church activities.

  • There will be one service beginning at 9:30 a.m. We will continue with one service at 9:30 a.m. until further notice.

  •  Services will be live-streamed. Keep in mind attendees may appear on camera.
  • There will be no limit on occupancy at church services and no requirement to social distance for those fully vaccinated.
  • Fully vaccinated individuals may go without masks if they so choose.
  • Those who are not vaccinated must still wear masks and observe social distancing.

  • Should we reach seating capacity, overflow will be able to watch the live stream in the Fireside Room.
  • Please continue to use hand sanitizer when entering the building.
  • Outside doors will be propped open until the start of the service.
  •  Sanctuary doors will be propped open throughout the service.
  • The nursery will remain closed for the time being.
  • There will be no Sunday School/Kids’ Activity Hour.
  • Singing and recitation of liturgy will be allowed.
  •  Restrooms will be limited to one person or family unit at a time.
  • Following the service, fellowship time with coffee will be held in the Fireside room. Please do not bring any food items for fellowship at this time.

Potluck Lunch for Pr. Kim
On August 15, Our Savior's welcomes you to attend a poluck meal in honor of Pr. Kim's 22+ years of faithful service to our church and to celebrate him as he pursues retirement and many new exciting adventures.

We are inviting the congregation to participate by asking you, who are able, to provide items as listed below or help out with this event.

A main dish will be provided by the church. We are asking for people to bring a cold salad, such as green leaf salad, pasta salad, vegetable salad, or fruit to serve 8 to 10 people.

Each item should be brought in a ready-to-serve bowl or plate on the morning of this event and taken to the serving tables in the Fireside Room or the kitchen.

Starting this Sunday July 18, there will be Sign-Up sheets placed on the table in the Narthex. How wonderful it will be to once again gather for a meal together. Please stop by!
Tips from the Disaster Preparedness Team
Be forewarned, the month of July is National Ice Cream month... (Maybe that is only a disaster for Pastor Kim?)
Last week we asked you to save some water for your emergency kit. The recommendation is a three-day supply of water, with one gallon of water per person per day.
This week we are reminding you to also keep a bottle of water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
Evangelism Club
We're very excited to be able to host in person activities again.
This summer we will resume the movie nights and also sponsor a Bicycle Rodeo!
What activities would you like to see hosted? Be creative, be bold, make a suggestion at: oslc@oursavoirs.net.

OSLC Foundation
Foundation Board - Latest Meeting Information

After a year of zoom meetings, it was a real pleasure to meet in person. Smiling faces and warm greetings! We are pleased to announce that we awarded a $3150 grant to Letty Owings for new cribs, bassinets, bedside sleepers, playpens, and mini-cribs. This will help all clients and children who call Letty Owings home!  We also approved additional funds for one of our Swanson Program ladies for
daycare to provide more study time to complete her GED. Programs fund monies were approved for our parking lot sealing and re-striping project.

Your endowment funds and God's work helping many in need.
