relink.org is excited to announce that we will be making our way down to Dayton in a couple of weeks to participate in the Families of Addicts Rally4Recovery Event.

The 8th Annual Rally hosted by FOA will be held on August 29th from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Courthouse Square in downtown Dayton. It is our mission to meet those in need and bring awareness to relink.org in the Dayton area as well as connect with other like-minded organizations that could make for valuable partnerships in the future.

Join us on what is supposed to be an incredible afternoon of music, food, collaboration, connection and most importantly resources to help families with loved ones struggling with addiction.

Overdose Awareness Day

relink.org Remembers Why We Began This Journey

IOAD_Memes_Graphics_New-15.jpg

August is Overdose Awareness Month, and the 31st is National Overdose Awareness Day. relink.org is remembering those who have lost their battle with addiction. It is truly an honor to work every day with individuals and families through the process of recovery and to find them the resources they need to be successful in this journey. Recovery from Substance Use Disorder takes strength and courage that the average person would not believe, and the families witnessing the process endure unbelievable pain.

This disease claims thousands of lives every year, and it is our goal to make resources as accessible as possible to individuals with Substance Use Disorder to inspire change before it is too late. To honor the lives lost and bring awareness to the disease, relink.org will attend the Steps of Change / Overdose Awareness Day event held by OhioCAN (Change Addiction Now). Visit relink.org and dozens of organizations at the Pavilion in Cuyahoga Falls on Tuesday August 31st starting at 5:30 p.m.

Relink.org Aims Big For The Small Communities

Simplifying Connection For a Local Community

At its inception in 2017, the goal for relink.org was to develop a user friendly database of resources for those in need. It started with an extensive list of addiction recovery related organizations and providers, and now spans across a variety of various needs that individuals or families, who have fallen on hard times, may find themselves searching for. As we are ever-growing and listening to the needs of our users, we teamed up with leaders at St. Ambrose Church who have been serving one particular area of the near westside of Cleveland during their outreach events.

Father Bob Stec and his team of dedicated Parishioners have long recognized the need for change and support in this neighborhood, often referred to as 'Clark-Fulton' or 'The Stockyards.' It is this need that drove the group to collaborate with relink.org to create a 'sub-portal' that is dedicated to this neighborhood and the people who call it home. Residents of this area are now able to visit onehopeNEO.com and connect with their neighbors, start conversations and find resources.
