message from the ptsa president

Remember the famous joke,
“How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Practice, practice, practice!” The same can be said for preparing for standardized tests … a little practice can go along way towards getting kids the grades they want.
The Academic Boosters and PTSA have partnered to host a practice ACT test next month at Langley.
If November doesn’t work for you, watch for another practice test opportunity coming after the new year.
Check out all the details in the article below.
We wish all test-takers the best of luck!

A
majority of respondents

VDOT and the county are considering this limited closure
to help address the afternoon traffic woes
in surrounding neighborhoods.

Click
here
for a summary of the PTSA survey’s key findings. Thanks to all the families and teachers/staff who participated.
A second community meeting
coordinated by VDOT and Fairfax County about the proposal and other possible traffic remedies takes place
TONIGHT, Oct 18, 7 pm at McLean HS.
VDOT and county staff will give an update on input received since the first community meeting in early August, and will answer questions.
