Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
I believe the man above is filled with joy having just destroyed with the Helper Holy Spirit, an old lie of the enemy, a stronghold. He then replaced that old lie with the Truth of God's Word. The lie had blocked for years the fullness of God's love towards him.
This series, going through Passover, God willing, is intended for you and me to remove strongholds as did this man above. The process is: 1) repent, return to God, convert from the world and the flesh, die to that old rebellious spirit into which you and I were born (Ephesians 2:3), die to the old self, stop playing church, truly come into His Kingdom if you're not in already (Matthew 4:17, Mark 1:15; Acts 3:19); 2) receive the indwelling Holy Spirit; and 3) spend time with that Holy Spirit, the Helper (John 16:7-15), as often as possible, day after day if you can, asking Him if you have even a residue of the sin issue presented that day. The process is private, between you and Him. Again, there's no condemnation in Christ (Romans 8:1). But old sin patterns blocking His Eternal Word have no place in a Holy Spirit-filled believer, now a "temple of the living God." ( 2 Corinthians 6:16). Given all His promises, including that He will be a Father to each of us believers, and we are His sons and daughters, we are called to " cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." (2 Corinthians 7:1; 1 Peter 1:15). The Risen Christ already sees us as His Bride. He will sanctify and cleanse us by the washing of water by the word (Ephesians 5:26). As each lying stronghold is demolished, the word of God replaces it, washing us in its Truth. In that repentance and cleansing process, the Lord is presenting us to Himself, "a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish." (Ephesians 5:27). He is the soon-coming Bridegroom (Matthew 24:36-51; Matthew 25:1-13).
The classic scripture to remove strongholds is in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. Here it is in the amplified version: "For though we walk in the flesh [as mortal men], we are not carrying on our [spiritual] warfare according to the flesh and using the weapons of man. The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ...,"
Today's issue is "reverent fear of the Lord." You might have looked at this earlier in this "strongholds removed" series, but regularly this is a VITAL place where any residue of a residue of a stronghold against such reverence needs to be removed. You and I know that rebellion is "as the sin of witchcraft." (1 Samuel 15:23), and "an evil man seeks only rebellion" (Proverbs 17:11). Rebellion is very alive in those preaching false, humanistic philosophies prevalent in our "church" today. They are marked for condemnation (Jude 4), and will perish as those in the rebellion of Korah (Jude 11).
Here is a powerful, excellent analysis of this healthy, proper "reverent fear of the Lord" by our dear sister Jane Snyder. Please checkout her website and donate to her excellent ministry:

Repent to restore the reverential fear of the Lord.
Psalm 2:11; Psalm 34:4; Psalm 34: 9
I want to delve into this Repentance command. I hope to publish a repentance theme each Sunday of Lent. I am starting with a BIG one. This is one that God takes note of and can turn your life, a community, and even a country.
Repent to restore the reverential fear of the Lord.
Why should we repent?
We must first repent of our failure to comply. You might argue that this is about restoration. But we can see that there is no restoration of the “fear of the Lord” without repenting of our failure to see why we are self-indulgent, putting our trust in our own thoughts and ways based upon our own opinions.
“Help me to rely upon YOU and hold Your values. I repent of my misplaced trust immediately.”
To acquire understanding, let’s look at the reward so we know where we are headed.
This is the reward of those operating in the fear of the Lord:
A Book of Remembrance.
"Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, And the Lord listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the Lord And who meditate on His name." Malachi 3:16
Next, we should look at why our hearts do not care about fearing God.
"O Lord, why have You made us stray from Your ways, and hardened our heart from Your fear?" Is 63:17
The answer to this question is simply “sin”. We must repent of it. If you are unaware of having a hard heart toward the Lord, then simply ask God to show you. He is happy to do so hoping for your repentance.
“Lord, I repent of each sinful thought and action that you show me. I am listening and realizing. Please forgive me and set me straight.”
Would you like to understand the “fear of the Lord”?
This next verse shows that effort is involved called seeking and searching.
"If you seek her as silver,
And search for her as for hidden treasures;
Then you will understand the fear of the Lord,
And find the knowledge of God.
For the Lord gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;" Prov. 2:4-6
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Prov. 1:7.
My Repentance
Am I a fool? Lord, forgive me for leaving you out of my life and decisions. I need to fear You, because I want to please you. I long for your presence and guidance and I cannot go forward without Your knowledge.
"And to man He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding." Job 28:28
"Therefore, you shall
1. keep the commandments of the Lord your God,
2. to walk in His ways and
3. to fear Him." Deut.8:6
"But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children," Ps 103:17
~~~~~~~
Now……Let’s repent.
Heavenly Father, I come to You today to repent from my selfish thoughts and ways.
I am truly sorry for leaving You out. I want You.
Please forgive me and help me to change my ways.
Please remind me to bring You into everything in my life, especially those things that I am emotional about (hate?) and care about (love? Idolize?).
Give me a forgiving heart and one that does not entertain offense.
I repent of not loving my enemies as you said to do.
I repent that my heart is so cold. Change it, please.
Help me to agree with Your values and standards and to keep them.
"This became known both to all Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified." recorded in Acts 19.17
May your fear fall upon us today just as it did 2000 years ago.
May You once again show Your people Jesus’ power and glory through His most terrible death as the sacrificed Lamb.
Show us how to fear You Father, as Jesus showed in the Garden of Gethsemane when He demonstrated the fear of You saying,
“Not my will but thine be done.” Amen
THE RESULT:
"Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied." Acts 9:31
THE BLESSING
May the reverential fear of the Lord be restored in His Bride.
NKJV all quotes
God bless you as you seek His Holy Spirit Wisdom on this vital issue. May you go forward on His path, "perfecting holiness in the fear of God." (2 Corinthians 7:1).
In the shaking that He promised [Hebrews 12:26-29] do you see that His Gift of repentance needs, all the more, from this time forward, to spread to all persons, everywhere? Doesn't it need to spread to all who don't yet know Him, and to a lukewarm "church," filled with many who have not ever even repented ? (Matthew 4:17; Acts 3:19)
Pastors preaching repentance are seeing amazing results. But at the same time they need support for food, for chlorine bottles to combat cholera, for gasoline for their old cars, etc. Whenever you sow into their work through NDR donations, you too receive their FRUIT! ( Matthew 3:8;Mark 6:12,13; Philippians 4:17)
God bless you,
