Dear Friends of The CARE Center,

As we close out 2025 and our celebratory anniversary season, we are filled with gratitude. Since the year 2000, every year of The CARE Center has been guided by a simple mission: to uplift neighbors in need across Southeast Madison County. When we reflect on these years, it’s not the time that stands out most, but the people who made this work possible.

Because of your generosity, families have food on the table, students are gaining confidence and skills, and adults are earning GEDs, finding employment, and building stable futures. Every story of hope begins with a gift like yours. As the year comes to an end, we invite you to give in this season of generosity.

This is your last chance to make a tax-deductible donation before January 1st, allowing you to take advantage of year-end tax benefits while helping us plan for the year ahead. Every dollar given stays local, directly serving neighbors in our four zip codes.

You can give securely by clicking the link HERE or by mailing your gift to:

The CARE Center: PO Box 51 | New Hope, AL 35760

You may also consider joining our 25 for 25 Monthly Donor Circle, a commitment of $25 per month that provides steady support for our core ministries, including student enrichment, adult education, food assistance, and community outreach. Monthly giving helps ensure that our neighbors receive consistent, hope-filled support throughout the year.

Thank you for being part of this work. Your investment in our mission is a testament to your faith, compassion, and love for our community. Together, we are working to share the love and hope of Christ while strengthening families in Southeast Madison County and empowering our neighbors through education, employment and crisis support while carrying hope forward for the next 25 years.

Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and joyful holiday season,

Andrea Bridges

When you join The CARE Center as a donor, you’re investing directly into the lives of local families, students, and neighbors who rely on support right here in our community. Your gifts make it possible for us to walk alongside people in meaningful ways through our ministries:

• Closing the Opportunity Gap through Education & Student Support

Helping young people discover confidence through mentoring, tutoring, career-readiness programs, leadership development, and high-quality after-school and summer enrichment programs.

• Adult Education & Empowerment

Equipping adults with tools for long-term stability through GED preparation, workforce readiness, digital literacy, and support that opens doors to new opportunities.

• Food Security & Crisis Assistance

Providing emergency food, Bags of Blessings, and compassionate support to families facing unexpected hardships.

• Community Outreach & Partnerships

Strengthening families through school partnerships, neighborhood engagement, mentoring connections, and resources that uplift the entire community.

Every gift helps sustain these ministries and ensures our neighbors continue receiving hope-filled support in the moments they need it most.

Resources & Opportunities

Male Mentors Needed

We are seeking responsible male mentors for the school day and our after-school programs. These mentors are crucial in providing guidance and support to the youth in our community. Applicants must be available to meet with their assigned child at school at least once a week during the school day or our after-school program and pass a background check. If you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people, we encourage you to reach out and become a mentor.

If you're interested, please contact us: Call 256.723.2273 or email info@thecare-center.org.

Food Pantry Wish List

Our food pantry shelves are a little bare right now, so as you go grocery shopping, would you be willing to pick up some extra items for our Food Pantry? To make it more convenient for you, we have an Amazon Wish List where you can order items and have them shipped directly to our Business Office. All donations help ensure food stability for our neighbors during difficult times. Thank you for your support!
