Spot MLNB in Downtown Petaluma!

Miracle League North Bay is currently featured in the Copperfield’s Books window in downtown Petaluma!

Stop by and check out our special display featuring team jerseys, cheer poms, favorite books, bats, balls, and of course, our favorite mascot, Homer!

The display is only up for the month of October, so don’t wait! Snap a photo in front of the window, tag Miracle League North Bay on Instagram, and show us your photo on game day to pick up a special reward at the Snack Shack!

Our fall games end October 17, so hurry and get your picture before the season wraps up!

We’re so grateful to Copperfield’s for helping us share Miracle League with the Petaluma community. Be sure to head inside and show the bookstore some love while you’re there too!

Special Basketball Event with SRJC!

We’re excited to share that Miracle League North Bay has been specially invited to join the Santa Rosa Junior College Bear Cubs for an inclusive morning of basketball!

On Sunday, November 29 from 10:30 AM –12:00 PM, our athletes will take the court alongside SRJC basketball players and athletes from other SRJC sports programs for drills, skill-building, a friendly scrimmage, and plenty of fun and connection.

Even better, SRJC athletes will serve as Buddies for this special event! Each Miracle League athlete will have support on the court as they learn, play, and enjoy the experience together.

No basketball experience is necessary, and all skill levels are welcome. Families and friends are encouraged to come cheer from the stands and help us celebrate our athletes!

Space is limited, so be sure to register!

More Ways to Enjoy Doran Beach

We love this accessibility update! Doran Regional Park in Bodega Bay now offers Freedom Trax, a motorized track system that allows people who use manual wheelchairs to travel over sand and other uneven terrain while staying in their own wheelchair. The system is controlled by a joystick that can be operated by the wheelchair user or a companion.

Freedom Trax is FREE and available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through November 15, 2026. Reservations are strongly recommended, although drop-ins may be accommodated when equipment is available.

Doran Regional Park also offers free non-motorized, all-terrain beach wheelchairs and walkers on a first-come, first-served basis. Beach wheelchairs have oversized balloon tires designed for sand and uneven surfaces and are available in standard, reclining and children’s models. All-terrain walkers have four wheels, hand brakes and built-in seats for resting. Check it out.

Homer's Highlight

Meet Aiden: Our New Field Inspector

If you’ve noticed the Miracle League field looking fresh, clean, and ready for game day each week, Aidan is one of the people helping make that happen! Our new Field Inspector checks in on the field once or twice a week while we’re away, helping us keep the space safe, welcoming, and looking its best for our athletes and families.

Aidan was born and raised in Petaluma and is a graduate of Petaluma High School. Go Trojans!

As a young man living with Cerebral Palsy, Aidan’s father fostered his love of sports from an early age. Growing up, Aidan participated in the Petaluma Youth Soccer League, Petaluma Little League T-Ball and Coach Pitch, and eventually played baseball with the North Bay Challenger Little League.

In high school, Aidan found his connection to sports not on the field, but behind the scenes as a member of the athletic support staff. He served as the waterboy for the Trojan football team throughout all four years of high school.

Since graduating, Aidan and his father have expanded their support of Trojan athletics to include both the football and baseball programs. Aidan runs the scoreboard while his father handles the announcing. In addition to the Trojans, they now support the Leghorns American Legion baseball team and Athletic Edge Baseball Club in the same capacities.

Although Aidan never played ball with Miracle League, he has attended many games over the years to support his good friend Liam.

When the opportunity came up to support Miracle League through field maintenance, it seemed like an ideal job for Aidan. Once or twice a week, he picks up trash, cleans the playground chalkboard, maintains the banners, and reports graffiti or other concerns around the buildings. We’re continuing to find ways to add new tasks to his weekly routine, including tools that may help him clear leaves, bark, and other organic debris around the field.

Aidan lives with his parents and his dog, Mackenzie, on the west side of Petaluma. When he’s not involved in sports, he enjoys going to Blue Öyster Cult concerts.

We are so excited to have Aidan as part of the Miracle League North Bay team and grateful for the care he puts into helping keep our field ready for our community each week!
