Bronco families and supporters,

As we head into the holiday season I find myself feeling especially thankful for all of you. It's been great to see our campus community grow in the second year of the Bronco Family Engagement program! Your participation in last year's orientation, continued interest in our Bronco Family Academy, and feedback from all of our newsletters has been wonderful and very much appreciated. I'm looking forward to many more opportunities for us to connect and grow as Broncos in the years to come.

I also want to remind you that the campus will be observing Thanksgiving on November 25th and 26th, which means there will be no classes, and University offices and departments will be closed. Please visit our Academic Planning and Resources page for more information.
Rose Float Volunteer Opportunity
Are you interested in decorating our annual entry into the Pasadena Tournament of Roses parade? Stay tuned to our December newsletter for additional information on a special volunteer decoration opportunity for Bronco Families! All volunteers will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative test within 72 hours of your shift and fill out the Cal Poly Pomona’s Guest Health Screener. Masks will be mandatory.

Cal Poly Universities of Pomona and San Luis Obispo present the 2022 float, Stargrazers! The year's float depicts the classic nursery rhyme “Hey Diddle Diddle,” but with an engineering twist! The cows, along with their farmyard colleagues, (the cat, the little dog, the dish and the spoon) are building their way to the moon. They have made a jet pack out of milk cans which will hoist the cow in its jump over the moon!
Bronco Family Engagement Town Hall
We want to thank everyone that was able to attend our first Bronco Family Engagement Town Hall! Your attendance and thoughtful questions were greatly appreciated.

If you missed it and would like to watch our campus administrators discuss the university's plans for spring semester you can visit us at www.cpp.edu/family to view the recording.
