IWIRC Welcomes 2026 Board of Directors
The International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (WIRC), the premier international, networking, and professional growth organization for women in the restructuring and insolvency industry, recently is pleased to announce its 2026 Board of Directors.

Evelyn Meltzer (Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders LLP; Wilmington, USA), soon to be Immediate Past Chair, stated, "It has been my honor to serve as Chair of IWIRC for 2025. I am extremely proud of all that the board accomplished this past year, including the implementation of a new corporate governance structure and the launch of IWIRC’s first stand-alone flagship conference in Dublin in June 2026. I am confident that next year’s Board will continue to build on this momentum, further advancing IWIRC’s mission and fostering growth and innovation within our organization. I look forward to seeing IWIRC reach even greater heights in the years to come."
Eloise Matsui (Omni Bridgeway; Hong Kong) will be the Chair for 2026. She said, "I am honored to serve as Chair of IWIRC in 2026. I look forward to collaborating with our dedicated board, networks, and members across the globe to advance IWIRC’s mission of connecting and empowering women in the insolvency and restructuring profession. My key priorities in 2026 are (1) providing support to our networks to deliver opportunities for our members in their local communities; and (2) execution of the remaining initiatives in our 3-year strategic plan to ensure strength and resilience of our organization. I look forward to connecting with many members at our flagship conference in Dublin in June 2026."
The other 2026 officers include Vice Chair Tara Schellhorn (Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti LLP; Morristown, USA), Finance Director Joanne Hewitt-Schembri (FTI Consulting LLP; London, UK), Governance and Risk Director Stuti Jain (Deutsche Bank AG; Singapore), Operational Management Director Anne Rasho Vanderkamp (AlixPartners; Chicago, USA), and Global Director Sara-Ann Wilson (Dentons Canada LLP; Toronto, Canada). New to the Executive Committee this year are the roles of Governance and Risk Director, Operational Management Director, and Global Director. The leadership of the International Board of Directors for 2026 represents 26 IWIRC Networks from around the globe.
Karen Fellowes, KC (Stikeman Elliott; Calgary/Vancouver, Canada), Immediate Past Chair in 2025 and head of the Nominating Committee said, "As IWIRC continues to grow and expand across the globe, we have implemented a new refreshed Board structure to reflect our strategic goals and mission. Congratulations and a sincere thank you to all the dedicated IWIRC members who were selected for the 2026 Board. The future of IWIRC is looking bright."
