Father of global superstar Drake, Dennis Graham has become a recognizable personality in his own right, known for his larger-than-life presence, signature style and lifelong connection to music. A singer, musician and entertainer, Dennis continues to build his own audience while remaining a memorable figure in pop culture.
Growing up surrounded by the funk, rock, soul, R&B and country music of his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, Dennis taught himself to play piano, guitar and drums. He began performing with local bands at a young age, and at just 18 years old, a chance encounter led to an opportunity to play drums with rock-and-roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis.
Throughout his life, Dennis’ passion for music has remained constant.
Dennis later became known to a new generation through memorable appearances alongside Drake, including the “Worst Behavior” music video, as well as his appearance in Canadian band Arkells’ music video for “Drake’s Dad.” His personality, style and authenticity have helped make him a fan favorite both on and off screen.
As a solo R&B artist, Dennis released “Kinda Crazy” and has continued recording and releasing music, including “That on That,” “Mistreated,” “You Got a Friend,” “Father and Son” and his 2025 single “Don’t Leave.”
