A Message from Headmaster Scott
Dear Archway Trivium West families,
The final quarter of a school year is full of state testing, celebratory events, and the natural buzz of the approaching finish line. In many ways, it is a sprint to the finish and it will pass just as quickly. With that in mind, I would like to share the following thought from Andrew Zwerneman on liberal education as a reminder of what we are trying to accomplish.
We are born with free will, but we are not born free in the higher sense. We must be educated to freedom. To be free in this sense is to know the truth, to examine our thought and practice, and to seek ever greater understanding. To be free means to govern ourselves as individuals and together to meet our shared responsibilities by pursuing ends or purposes that are noble and lasting, reflective of our dignity and of the common good. Finally, freedom means generously giving to others, even sacrificially. A liberal education is an education to freedom. It guides us to the truth of things within and beyond ourselves, to noble purposes, and, above all, to others.
Thank you for partnering with us in this pursuit.
Clay Scott

RE-DIRECT your tax dollars that would otherwise go to the state of AZ and allow them to benefit our Field Trips and Extracurricular Programs at Archway Trivium West. Encourage anyone else you know with AZ state tax liability to do the same! Help us make the Silly Sock Celebration a reality for the scholars! bit.ly/ArchwayTriviumTC

Re-enrollment is March 14-23
Re-enrollment is the time for current ATW Kindergarten-4th grade students to confirm or release your student's seat for the 2022-2023 school year and
update any contacts, residing address, and/or medical information by electronically submitting re-enrollment paperwork and uploading an updated AZ Proof of Residency document through the Parent Portal between Monday, March 14 – Wednesday, March 23.
Re-Enrollment Steps:
-
On Monday, March 14, Great Hearts will send an email with the re-enrollment instructions. It will instruct you to log on to the enrollment Parent Portal, fill out the electronic re-enrollment packet for each of your students. This will include updating important contacts, residing address and/or medical information for your child.
- In addition to the packet, you will need to scan and upload a copy of proof of AZ Residency that matches the home address on the Re-enrollment Form. This can be a driver’s license, utility, internet, or phone bill, or a credit card/bank statement.
- If your child will not be returning, you will still log in and click the Re-Enroll Now button but will then select the not returning option which will prompt you to print, sign, and upload a withdrawal form instead of the AZ proof of Residency document.
Please contact the office if you have any questions.

As a reminder, to minimize the backup of traffic on Encanto/Bullard before the end of the school day, we are closing the Encanto entrance to our school parking lot from 2:35-3:00pm. Goodyear Police will be monitoring traffic on Encanto and Bullard during this time, and if you are stopped on one of these roads waiting to enter campus, you may be ticketed.
On Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday, families who are picking up Archway-only students should arrive to campus AFTER 3:10 PM. Families picking up both Archway and Prep students, please remind your Prep students to arrive to the pick-up zone promptly.
On Wednesdays, families picking up BOTH Archway and Prep students are asked to arrive AFTER 1:40 PM. On Wednesdays, families picking up Archway-only should arrive at 1:25PM.
Parents picking up Archway students from school MUST use the Archway pickup line. Prep students picking up Archway students to meet a parent driver may NOT load into a car in the Prep pick-up line or on Palm Lane. The entrance/exit to our parking lot from Encanto Blvd is right turn only.
