- Closing at Noon on Wednesday, November 24th

Sea Pines CSA Board of Directors Election Ballot Reminder
This year, Sea Pines CSA has selected Vote-now.com LLC as our 3rd Party Independent Elections Administrator. Unique voting codes have been assigned by Vote-now.com LLC and eligible Class “A” members have the opportunity to cast their votes either online or by completing a mailed paper ballot. Ballots must be received by 11:59 PM EST, December 1, 2021, to be counted. Only one form of voting (either online or by mail) will be counted.

2022 Sea Pines CSA Residential Assessments
At the November 16th Sea Pines CSA Board of Directors meeting, the Sea Pines CSA Board of Directors unanimously approved the 2022 budget and the related 2022 assessment amounts. The 2022 assessment for an improved lot will be $1,152 and $686 for an unimproved lot (once a lot has been improved, it is considered to be always improved). We anticipate the 2022 invoices to be mailed the first week in December to the notice of mailing address on file with Sea Pines CSA. Assessment payments are due by January 10, 2022. North Sea Pines Drive Phase 2: Major Roadway Reconstruction In Progress
Major stormwater drain pipe excavation and replacements are in progress in the areas along and across the roadway of North Sea Pines Drive between Red Cardinal Road to Spotted Sandpiper Road and the adjacent leisure trail. Due to the holiday, work will be conducted through Wednesday of this week.
PROJECT REMINDERS:
- TEMPORARY FULL LANE CLOSURES IN PROJECT ZONE ARE EXPECTED. UTILIZE GREENWOOD DRIVE GATE TO AVOID HEAVY TRAFFIC DELAYS.

The leisure trail along North Sea Pines Drive from The Sea Pines Beach Club to Lawton Drive is closed to bike and pedestrian traffic. Please refer to the Leisure Trail detour map here for more information.
- The Beachwalks located at #39 & #40 are not currently accessible from North Sea Pines Drive due to this project.
Catbird Lane & Spotted Sandpiper Road Drainage Work to begin November 29th
Sea Pines CSA's contractor will begin well point operations the week of November 29th to remove groundwater before excavation.
- Well point pumps and equipment will be set up in the roadway.
- Work is expected to take 2 weeks, weather permitting.

Road Drainage Work to Begin Near the Ocean Gate the Week of December 6th
Construction crews will conduct major infrastructure improvement work near the Ocean Gate in Sea Pines the week of December 6th. This portion of the work occurring in the inbound lane is expected to take approximately 3 days to complete, weather permitting.
Due to limitations on working space and the need to excavate stormwater drainage pipe and install replacement pipe, the inbound lane of traffic at the Ocean Gate (Cordillo Pkwy. At South Forest Beach Drive) will be closed from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm during the work.
Drivers coming inbound into Sea Pines will need to use the Greenwood Gate located off of the Sea Pines Circle during the stated timeframe. Traffic control and flaggers will be present during this work, drivers are asked to use caution in the work zone. Leisure trails in this area of North Sea Pines Drive and the Ocean Gate will be closed in both directions to accommodate this work.
Sea Pines CSA will continue to keep you updated and will provide additional details and firm dates on this planned work and lane closures as we near the week of December 6th.

Stormwater Drainage Repairs at the Entrance of Greenwood Forest
Stormwater drainage repairs began last week at the entrance of Greenwood Forest and will continue through Wednesday, November 24th. Traffic delays are not expected as access at the intersection of Greenwood Drive and Forest Drive will be maintained during working hours.

Stormwater Repairs on Club Course Drive
Stormwater repairs on Club Course Drive in proximity to #66 and #68 Club Course Drive began Friday, November 19th, and will continue through Wednesday, weather permitting. Flag persons will be present to control traffic during single-lane closures in the designated work zone.

Catch Basin Maintenance
Crews will began conducting beach walk catch basin inspections Thursday, November 18th starting with Beachwalk #11 and are working upwards towards Tower Beach, weather permitting

Leisure Trail Asphalt Repairs
Leisure trail repairs are scheduled to continue through Wednesday along Lighthouse Road leisure trail, from Plantation Drive to Lighthouse Lane. Flagmen will be present as needed.

Leisure Trail Tree Trimming
Leisure trail tree trimming began in the Baynard Cove Area, near Baynard Cove Road. This work will continue through Wednesday, weather permitting. Leisure trails will remain open and we ask that pedestrians and bikers proceed with caution.

An Important Safety Message
Sea Pines Security received recent reports of car break-ins from various areas as a result of vehicles being left unlocked. We want to take this time to remind everyone in Sea Pines to remove the opportunity for theft by securing your vehicles (lock your doors and roll up your windows) and to remove personal belongings from plain view when leaving vehicles unattended.
When you see something that looks out of place, please report it to our security department promptly by calling 843.671.7170. The sooner we get the information, the quicker we can assist. Thank you for your assistance in helping to keep our community safe.

Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office Seasonal Hours Reminder
As of October 25, 2021, and continuing through early Spring 2022, the Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office, located at 32 Greenwood Drive will be operating at the below seasonal hours:
- Sunday – Thursday: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM
- Friday & Saturday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM
If a guest of a property owner arrives at Sea Pines outside of the Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office operating hours listed above, he/she is asked to drive directly to the security gate and speak with the gate attendant on duty. If the appropriate pass has been called in for the visitor, the gate attendant will have the guest’s name on their list and the guest will be allowed to enter Sea Pines. At that time the guest will be instructed to return to the Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office the following day to pick up their pass. Sea Pines Trolley November Schedule

Trolley Safety Reminders:
- Request to riders: Please be advised, close contact amongst passengers is expected. Passengers ride at their own risk. If you feel sick, have a fever, cough or other symptoms, please stay home and do not ride the trolley. Wash your hands frequently and avoid touching your face.

Personal Protection Equipment is required: All passengers and trolley drivers will be required to wear face coverings when aboard the trolley. Refusal to wear a face covering or acting in an unsafe manner will result in denial of entry or expulsion from this service.

Six Oaks Cemetery: Wreaths Across America |

Six Oaks Cemetery will be honoring our veterans this Christmas during their Twelfth Annual Wreaths Across America ceremony. You are cordially invited to attend the ceremony, which will be held outside, on Saturday, December 18th at noon.

2022 Sea Pines Forest Preserve Calendars Now Available |
|
The 2022 Sea Pines Forest Preserve calendars are now available at the Sea Pines CSA Administration building located at 175 Greenwood Drive. This year's calendar comes in a larger 11" x 14.5" size. The cost is $10.00 and may be paid for by cash or check only. Please make checks out to “Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation”.
