The SBA released SBA Information Notice 5000-880695, "Issuance of SOP 50 10 8.1" effective October 1, 2026. Click here to access the SBA Information Notice on the SBA website.
This Notice clarifies how prior Policy and Procedural Notices are included in the new SOP. Until the October 1 effective date, however, lenders must continue to adhere to SOP 50 10 8 with Technical Updates, along with all Policy, Procedural and Information Notices issued since the June 1, 2025 effective date.
