❄️🌨️ Winter Flu Season Update 🥶🌨️

We’re sharing a brief health update about flu-like symptoms and influenza currently being seen in our school community. This increase is common for this time of year, and we appreciate your help keeping everyone healthy. Our goal is for students to be able to participate fully in school learning experience.

According to the Vermont Department of Health, flu activity remains low but increasing statewide. Reports show a high prevalence of Influenza A, which typically declines later in the cold & flu season. As we move through late winter and early spring, we are beginning to see more cases of Influenza B recently, which is more common during this time of year. COVID-19 also continues to be present.
