Solid Waste Management Department (SWMD) Collection and Facility Schedule for Memorial Day Holiday

Houston — In observance of the City of Houston’s approved holiday schedule, there will be no curbside collection services, and all Solid Waste Management (SWMD) facilities will be closed.

Monday, May 26, 2025 (Memorial Day)

CITY HOLIDAY:

Monday no collection services. All Solid Waste Facilities including, collection services, the Neighborhood Depositories/Recycling Centers, Westpark Recycling Center, Environmental Service Center, The Reuse Warehouse, and administrative offices will be closed.
Monday curbside service is rescheduled to Tuesday. All facilities will re-open
Tuesday curbside service is rescheduled to Wednesday.
