🌳 SURVEY: HELP SHAPE DUBLIN'S NEWEST PARK

A new 2.01-acre park is coming to the future Dublin Centre development — located between Tassajara Road and Brannigan Street, stretching from Gleason Drive toward Dublin Boulevard — and we want your input. We’re in the early design phase and want to hear what features matter most to you. Play areas? Shaded picnic spots? Walking paths or fitness stations? Now’s the time to share your ideas.

The final design will align with the Dublin Centre development plan and the City’s Parks and Recreation Master Plan, but community input will help shape what this space becomes. Take the short survey by August 3.

♻️ PLASTIC-FREE JULY AT THE DUBLIN FARMERS' MARKET

Help mark Plastic-Free July with our Environmental & Sustainability Division and Amador Valley Industries on Thursday, July 24, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Pick up a free reusable produce bag and explore easy ways to reduce single-use plastic. The team will also share everyday tips on composting, waste reduction, and more.

🏏 USA CRICKET RETURNS TO FALLON SPORTS PARK THIS WEEKEND

Fallon Sports Park will once again host USA Cricket — this time welcoming the U15 Boys Western Conference Games from Friday, July 18, to Sunday, July 20, with matches starting daily at 10:00 a.m. It's the second consecutive year Dublin has hosted a national tournament, following last year’s girls’ tournament. The weekend will showcase 48 top youth players from Arizona, Oregon, Washington, and California. Come out and support the next generation of cricket stars, and help spotlight Dublin as a premier destination for regional athletics.

🌎 PASSPORT ACCEPTANCE FAIR: AUGUST 16

Planning international holiday travel this year? Mark your calendar for our Passport Acceptance Fair, taking place on Saturday, August 16, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., by appointment only, at the Dublin Civic Center (100 Civic Plaza). This is a one-day event, where you can take advantage of our passport services.

Appointments will open on Monday, August 11, at 9:00 a.m., on our website.

PARKS AND COMMUNITY SERVICES

• August at The Wave: Registration for next month's Fitness Swimming and Aqua Aerobics opened July 15. And in case you didn't know, you can reserve a full month of sessions in advance. Good news for our lap swimmers: with weekday waterpark hours ending August 10, we're adding more fitness swim sessions through the end of the month.
• Self-Service equipment rentals: You'll find these convenient lockers at Don Biddle Park, offering rentals for horseshoes and pickleball equipment, and at Fallon Sports Park, where you can enjoy volleyball and bocce ball by renting the necessary equipment. Just download the Rent.Fun app, scan the QR code on the locker, and return the equipment when you're done.

• For the little ones: Spots are still available for Summer Camp Week 7 (July 21–25), and looking ahead, fall registration is open for our Preschool Programs, including Little Clovers Creative Learning.

CITY COUNCIL

At its July 15 meeting, the Dublin City Council reviewed several items, including accepting the final outcome report on the Sewer Capacity Assistance Program.
