The 33rd WILPF International Congress is set to take place virtually and online, beginning July 16. The Congress will occur over two weekends, July 16-17 and July 23-24, four hours per day. The U.S. Section will be represented by four delegates and four alternates. You are invited to apply to represent WILPF US at the Congress.
The Congress is the highest decision-making body of WILPF. Delegates are responsible for attending meetings and representing WILPF US in voting. Alternates also attend meetings and must be available to vote in case a delegate is unable to attend a session. Before the Congress, Delegates and Alternates will be expected to attend an orientation run by WILPF International as well as delegation meetings for WILPF US.
Although the in-person meetings of previous congresses will be missed, there will be opportunities to meet members from around the world, listen to their ideas, and share yours. Here’s your chance to be an active part of this exciting, international gathering.
If you have questions about the application process, contact the Ad Hoc Delegate Application Review Committee of the Nominating Committee at nominatingcommittee@wilpfus.org.
