Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ:

One of the great joys of St. Paul the Apostle is our aspiration to our parish mission: “Wherever you are on your faith journey, you are welcome here.” But welcome is only the beginning. The deeper invitation is to belong - to discover that this community needs your presence, your gifts, your ideas, and your heart.

That is what our Ministry Fair is about.

Our parish is alive because people say "yes!"

Yes to serving at Mass.

Yes to caring for those in need.

Yes to welcoming a stranger.

Yes to teaching our children and accompanying our young people.

Yes to music, prayer, hospitality, justice, outreach, and service.

Yes to doing the quiet work behind the scenes that makes so much of our parish life possible.

You do not have to be an expert. You do not have to have a lot of extra time. And you certainly do not have to have your faith all figured out.

You simply have to be willing to ask: "Where might God be inviting me to take one more step?"

Next weekend, I invite you to visit our Ministry Fair after each mass. Meet some people. Ask questions. Discover something you may not have known about St. Paul’s. And perhaps find one place where your gifts and the needs of our community meet.

With God's grace, we build our parish together. I hope we will continue to become a community where welcome becomes belonging, faith becomes service, and each of us discovers that we have something to offer.

Peace and blessings,

Father Gil
