Faith & Nature Walk – Nolde Forest State Park – 9AM-1PM

If you ever wanted to be a part of a fairy tale or walk around an enchanted forest, join Faith and Nature on Saturday, October 17th, as we hike through the woods at Nolde Forest State Park.

In the early 1900s hosiery baron Jacob Nolde, a German-born American, acquired the area and wanted to create a forest similar to the Black Forest in Bavaria, Germany. It became a state park in the 1960s and established an environmental education center in 1970.
