MAFMC Meeting This Week
The Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council (MAFMC) meets this week in Alexandria, Virginia with an option to attend virtually. Public comment will be taken on all major agenda items from both in-person and remote participants.
Topics of interest being discussed at this meeting include: Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management (EAFM) Risk Assessment Report, Vessel Baseline Evaluation, Unmanaged Commercial Landings Report, 2027-2029 Blueline Tilefish Specifications, and SSC Report.
