In Wired for Style Workshop, Janet takes you through every step necessary to make design changes to your own sloper or button-up shirt pattern (i.e. Women's Shirt Maker's Express pattern #227) to create a new pattern & style that you already know will fit. Construction tips are incorporated that make it go together quickly as well as finishing techniques and details that elevate your garments to the look of fine ready-to-wear.
Learn beginning pattern making skills to create the wired collar and change the silhouette of a basic shirt to a stylish tunic. Then discover sewing techniques that are game changers when it comes to a professional look as Janet demonstrates every sewing step at the machine. These techniques and information will apply to almost any garment to make it better, more efficient and result in many more successful shirts, coats, vests and dresses.
The workshop cost is $45.00 plus the kit fee of $75 - $95. The kit includes a beautiful selection of Rayon and Rayon blends, choice of curated collection of buttons, interfacing and an "exclusive" collar shaper (only sold by Islander Sewing Systems).
