New Biathlon Wall

The Caledonia Nordic Ski Club extends its deepest gratitude to the Sinclair Family for their generous donation to support the replacement of our Biathlon Wall. Over time, the original wall constructed from concrete lock blocks had shifted, necessitating this crucial upgrade to ensure the safety and success of our athletes.

The Sinclair Family’s ongoing commitment to our club and programs has been invaluable, and their support continues to make a significant impact on our community.

We are profoundly thankful for all they have done and look forward to the enhanced experience this new Biathlon Wall will provide for our athletes and members.

Looking to get into Birdwatching? Discover the joys of bird watching with our social beginner bird watching program, tailored specifically for seniors! Connect with nature, meet new friends, and enjoy gentle outdoor activities that promote both mental and physical well-being. Our friendly, knowledgeable guides will introduce you to the fascinating world of birds, ensuring a fun and educational experience for everyone. We will get you all set to start birding on your own with confidence. Embrace a new hobby that keeps you active, engaged, and connected with the beauty of the natural world. Join us today and let your spirits soar!

Participants will be walking on uneven, undulating terrain. Ensure you wear the right footwear, bring hiking poles and wear appropriate clothing for the weather (and the bugs).

Binoculars and Guidebooks available to borrow for the program. If you have a Smartphone or Tablet, there are many apps available to benefit new birders!

Two session options this season:

1) Tuesdays, July 2 & 9 (9am-1130am)

OR

2) Wednesdays, July 3 & 10 (9am-1130am)

Social Gathering in the lodge to follow, supplies will be available for use

Get your bikes out and your hiking shoes laced up! Our multi-use trails are open for the 2024 summer season!

We are thrilled to let you know that progress continues on the Paved Trail project, bringing us closer to an exciting new addition to our club. The trail is shaping up beautifully, and we can't wait for you all to experience it firsthand.
