Joseph and Mary were engaged to be married when Mary became pregnant! Nobody understood what was taking place. Surely, they had hard times in their families or communities because of how things happened. Thank God, Mary and Joseph were visited by an Angel and knew what they had to do! They must go forward in faith and trust what the Angel had told them. They were both willing and obedient. But this takes time to process. Mary was treasuring and pondering these things in her heart. She couldn't have understood everything at first. But she wrestled with its significance within herself. Don't we also have to trust God like this in our own life? Even when it doesn’t make sense, we treasure God's word and His presence, knowing He will bring His will to completion. |
