INSIDE OUR HOUSE

Quarterly Newsletter August 2026

A Message from Michele...

Dear Our House Family,

I can't believe how fast summer is flying by! Over the past few months, Our House has been full of changes and new opportunities that we're excited to share with you.

In June, we launched our new Small Acts, Big Impact Fund, which will help support expenses not funded by other sources, such as personal communication devices or activity fees. This initiative helped the Foundation complete its best fundraising year to date, raising over $1 million in service of our residents and participants. THANK YOU!

In July, we officially moved into our new home base at Spring Street, bringing together multiple day programs and our administrative team. Everyone has been busy settling in, but we still made time for some celebration (and a dance party!).

Our residents and participants have been everywhere in the community - enjoying the summer sunshine, eating delicious BBQ, and advocating for their peers in Trenton.

We also reached an important institutional milestone. In our last quarter, we achieved only 2% turnover in employees - a metric that's almost unheard of in our sector. Thank you to our administrative leadership team for continuing to make Our House a wonderful place to work, which, most importantly, leads to better support for the individuals we serve.

This fall will see the return of our popular Tee It Up for Our House Golf Outing and the start of something new - Bag Bingo! We hope you'll join us at an upcoming event or reach out just to say "hi!" as Our House continues to grow boldly into the future.

Sincerely,

Michele DelCorsano
