JOEL HENSLER

I have had a fascination for dogs and horses 71 years ago when I rode a horse for the first time at the Hunewill Working Guest Ranch, at the base of the Sierra Nevada's.

Five years later at the age of 8 after several more annual weeks of riding I fell in love with a black horse named Toby. Now there wasn't anything special about Toby other than he was a giant and my 8-year-old imagination. For two years after that week, I drew his head to show people what he looked like.

I have been going to the Hunewill Ranch on and off since then. I get up at 5 a.m. each morning to photograph the round-up of the approximately 180 horses that the ranch owns.

Here are two of my favorite photos from my visit at the beginning of June, "Peek-A-Boo" and "White Roan".

The third photo is an aerial shot of "Twin Lakes, Mono County".

Twin Lakes is located about 2 miles west from the ranch. You can see the Sawtooth Mountains towering over the lake. The opposite side of those mountains is Yosemite.

PHOEBE KIMBLE

Born in the snow belt of Cincinnati, Ohio, Phoebe Kimble moved to sunny Southern California approximately 36 years ago where she married into a blended family about 15 years ago.

She has been drawing since age two and enjoys all mediums ranging from lead pencil, to acrylic and oil paints. Phoebe is fond of gardening, baking and entertaining friends and family. Her approach to art is allowing people to enjoy other cultures and amazing ways to view portraits.

The beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the eyes are the window of expression. Capturing the deepest emotions through the eyes of the portraits is the challenge she tries to accomplish while painting. Phoebe enjoys crafting with friends and creating incredible interiors for her business clients.

RENA HEAGLE

Art is a language of the most intimate expression and chronicles my life experiences.

My artistic endeavors began very early in life. For as long as I can remember I have felt the need to create. My artwork has encompassed many mediums, to include metal sculpture, ceramics, oil and acrylic painting, foam, concrete, rock and an array of woods.

I attribute this beautiful Southern California mountain landscape for much of my creative inspiration. I first called this mountain home in 1987. The beauty is undeniable.

It is the manifestation of my imagination that is addicting to me, and I cannot live without it!

I am so grateful and fortunate to have the opportunity to share with you what comes from my soul. I hope you enjoy!

" All Roads lead to Arrowhead" Abstract textured metallic design outlined with arrowheads and framed in Mahogany.

 " Exotic Dreams "

"Trophy" Deer head constructed with various woods and adorned with an Arrowhead inlay. Approximately 3ft tall.

"Palm Frond Deer Head"

This is made from a palm tree trimming. Carefully cut on a bandsaw then mounted on a branch round.

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for (audience)? Why should they care (benefit)? What do I want them to do (call-to-action)?

Create a great offer by adding words like "free," "personalized," "complimentary," or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take action, so consider inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"

" California Deer"

"Heart Rocks"

A variety of metal and glass beads, charms and/or pendants adhered with mortar onto a natural stone. These stone are sealed and coated for long lasting luster.

LINDA JONES

Toward the end of 1999 I moved to Lake Arrowhead. Throughout the years I visited my brother many times and was amazed by the beauty of this place. I moved from the San Fernando Valley where I indoors as an office manager for 25 years. I was looking for something new and different. Shortly after settling in I got a job with a landscaping company. That was really new! I worked outside all day doing landscaping and splitting and delivering firewood. Several years later I got my landscaping license and went into business myself.

I can't remember why I started making wreaths but I loved it. Now after making them for 41 years I still love it.

Becoming part of the Gallery has given me a new outlook on life. All the artist have been incredibly welcoming. I am very grateful for their support. Winston, my little rescue dog buddy and I love the collecting.
