The Divine Connection: Kubera & Lord Srinivasa According to sacred scriptures, Lord Srinivasa (Balaji) borrowed wealth from Lord Kubera, the treasurer of the heavens, for his grand wedding with Goddess Padmavathi. To this day, devotees contribute offerings at Tirumala as a symbolic repayment of that divine loan. Inspired by this sacred tradition, the SV Temple Foundation (SVTF) is launching the Kubera Loan Program, an initiative to finance the completion of Srinivasa Kalyanamandapam—a spiritual and cultural landmark that will serve our community for generations. How You Can Participate We invite you to lend $25,000 (or multiples) at a 4% simple interest rate over 5 years to support this noble cause.
