Brew Hope. Create Opportunities.

Something new is brewing at Bloom! On October 1, Grounds for Restoration coffee officially became a Bloom social enterprise. We are grateful to the founders for entrusting us with this business and the opportunity to carry its mission forward.

Roasted locally by Mad Catter Coffee Roasters, each bag supports Bloom’s work to provide healing, hope, and employment opportunities for women survivors of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation.

FLOURISH WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT...

Lived Experience. Meaningful Work. Community Impact.

Check out this video created by United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley about our PA 211 Fellowship program. This program is enabling Bloom participants to use their lived experience to help neighbors connect with resources during challenging times—while building skills and finding purpose in their work.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH...

Reaching Our Community with Hope & Support

Bloom’s community outreach programs continue to create opportunities for connection, learning, and growth. On October 5, nine women graduated from Bloom on the Inside! A new six-week session is now beginning with 10 more women, continuing this work with incarcerated women.

We also visit the Children’s Home of Easton every Monday from 3:30–4:30 p.m., meeting with girls ages 12–18. Together, we explore healthy relationships, boundaries, internet safety, and other important topics to help young people recognize risks and make informed choices.

Through these programs, Bloom offers encouragement and practical tools while building supportive relationships within our community.

DEVELOPMENT UPDATE...

A New Tax Benefit for Giving in 2026

Your generosity helps Bloom provide safe housing, support, and opportunities for survivors. A new federal tax provision may now offer an additional benefit for your charitable giving—even if you don’t itemize deductions.

Beginning with the 2026 tax year, eligible taxpayers who take the standard deduction can also deduct up to $1,000 in qualifying cash donations, or $2,000 for married couples filing jointly. Established under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, this change allows more donors to receive a tax benefit for supporting the causes they care about.

Whether you make a one-time gift or give regularly through Bloom’s Sustainer Circle, your support helps sustain the care survivors rely on as they build lives of healing and independence. As you consider your year-end giving, this new deduction may be a helpful topic to discuss with your tax advisor.

The law also changes certain rules for donors who itemize and for corporate contributions. Keep your donation acknowledgments and consult your tax advisor to understand how the provisions apply to your situation.

Thank you for helping hope take root. Every gift helps move Bloom’s mission forward.

"Many years ago, I prayed a bold prayer:

God, break my heart for what breaks Yours.'

I don't think I fully understood what I was asking.

Tim Tebow has referred to the most vulnerable among us as God’s “MVP's - Most Vulnerable People.” When I hear the stories of the women who have survived sex trafficking and exploitation, that phrase takes on a very real meaning for me.

Their stories break my heart. To hear what some of these women have endured - things no person should ever have to experience - is almost impossible to comprehend. And yet, there is another side to their stories that brings me incredible joy: hearing about the lives they are rebuilding, the healing they are experiencing, and the joy they are discovering, sometimes for the very first time.

There are some things you cannot unsee once you have seen them. For me, sex trafficking and exploitation are one of those things.

I believe that is part of the answer to that bold prayer I prayed so many years ago. God broke my heart for something that breaks His heart—and then He showed me that heartbreak doesn't have to end in despair. It can move us to compassion, action, and hope.

That is why I support Bloom for Women. Bloom provides safe housing and an opportunity for women who have survived trafficking to begin a new chapter—to experience safety, dignity, healing, and the possibility of a future they may never have believed was possible.

What moves me most is not simply what these women have survived. It is who they are becoming.

I support Bloom because I believe every woman deserves the opportunity for a second chance, to know that her past does not have to define her future, and to experience the kind of hope and joy that comes from knowing she is valued, loved, and not forgotten.

I prayed, 'Break my heart for what breaks Yours.' And now I see that sometimes a broken heart is where compassion begins."
