Raise Your Hand if You

Love Coaching!

"The Miracle League has been the most rewarding and fulfilling opportunity I have been privileged to be a part of. I was motivated to become a coach because I wanted to be an advocate and cheerleader for a part of our community that is oftentimes misunderstood. As a coach, you are exposed to a world of compassion, kindness and downright amazing personalities. The bonds created with players, the families, as well as the Miracle League community has forever changed me for the better. I am honored to be Coach Ashley." Take it from Red Sox Coach Ashley Willis, being a Miracle League coach is an inspiring experience.

Over 200 volunteer coaches led our players to success this past spring. With the anticipation of adding new teams to the League, more coaches are needed for the upcoming fall season. Our diverse group of coaches, ranging from ages 15 to 83, have made a commitment to be at the ballfield about 90 minutes, once a week during the season.

According to Volunteer Coordinator Kyle Coburn, coaching experience or experience with special needs is not required. A pre-season training meeting gives all coaches a strong start. "A successful coach is someone with compassion, commitment, patience and desire to make a difference in the special needs community. Coaches give our players stability, a familiar face, a person they can trust and look up to." added Coburn. Click to learn more about coaching. 2025 Fall Season Sign-Up

is Open!

New and returning players and coaches can now sign-up online for the 2025 Fall Season. Players have until Aug. 12 to get on a roster however some teams and age groups hit capacity long before the deadline. We recommend players in high-demand Leagues sign up now! Returning coaches should sign up by Aug. 5 in order to secure their position on their previous team.

A reminder for our parents, players age-up in the fall. For example, if your child moves from elementary to middle school, they will also move in the Miracle League. As always, we will make every effort to keep teammates together.

The Miracle League season runs Sept. 5 through Oct. 30. Our traditional, non-competitive games are broken down into youth and adult leagues. Competitive games for players with independent playing skills are available to individuals with special needs in Jr. High, and above.

Thank You Durham Bulls!

Great weather, great baseball and great fun made the Durham Bulls' Play Ball clinic at the Miracle League field a huge success on June 14.

Durham Bulls players and coaches provided guidance and instruction through basic skill drills for our athletes. While fielding and throwing were enjoyed by all, batting was the big hit. Many balls flew over the MLT's blue wall and bull. Thank you to the Durham Bulls for giving us this opportunity!

Fun with USA Baseball

Despite the rainy weather and game delay, a number of our players had a fun evening with USA Baseball's National Collegiate teams at the Stars vs. Stripes game on July 2.

While waiting out the storm, MLT athletes joined the USA players inside the NTC building, gathering autographs, playing catch and simply enjoying their time together. We appreciate USA Baseball's ongoing support of our program.

Touch-a-Monster Truck

MLT Athletes and one escort are invited to join the Joran Lake School of the Arts at the Monster Jam Touch-A-Truck Multisensory Experience at Lenovo Center on Friday, July 25. The event includes a Driver Meet & Greet and the opportunity to watch them practice. More details and sign-up are available to Miracle League Players by clicking HERE. Space is limited!
