Beginning tonight and running until January 8th, parking will be FREE in the SoMi municipal downtown parking garage during certain hours. The free parking will be weekdays after 5:00pm and weekends all day and evening.
The free parking was approved by the SoMi Mayor and Commission during this week's Commission meeting. It is intended to give downtown businesses an additional tool to entice holiday shoppers inside their stores and restaurants.
