The next SOAR Adult Social Club - Lenexa will be tomorrow, Tues, Jan 14th, at the SOAR Office from 6-830 pm. SOAR Social Clubs are vibrant community events for adults (18y/o+) who are higher functioning. We will celebrate New Year's. We will have dinner together and then have a fun, safe community with each other playing games, watching movies, and much more. You can register now by clicking HERE. SOAR Camp 2025 - Fruit Warrior registration is open!! We are excited to announce that we will again have 2 camps, 1 week in Lee's Summit, MO at Abundant Life Church July 7-11, and another week in Lenexa, KS, at Westside Family Church July 21-25. This is 40 hours of respite for you! We accept all diagnoses and severities, ages 3 y/o and up. The cost is $499/camper. We do have payment plans available. Our SOAR Camp 2025 Summer Internship is now accepting applications. This is for high school and college students (16 y/o+) who have an interest in special needs. This is a 10-week, paid internship.

A SOAR Summer Intern will support the SOAR Camp Director with all aspects of preparing, setting up, and coordinating SOAR Camp. As assigned, summer interns will also assist with other SOAR events including respites and social clubs. A SOAR Summer Intern will learn how to recruit, train, and oversee volunteers and work hands-on with SOAR participants of all ages with disabilities. 

We are also looking for 2 media interns to handle all of our video needs for the summer. This is a great way to start building your portfolio. If you are interested in either position, then apply by clicking HERE.
