Honoring Our Past, Shaping Our Future: Together

Sunday, November 15, 10:10-11:45am

Please plan to participate in a churchwide, congregation-led initiative to remember, reflect, dream, and move forward – together. Join us on Sunday, November 15, 10:10-11:45am, as we worship together and celebrate the history and story of St. Francis UMC. This will be the first of two church-wide gatherings as we remember where we’ve been, discern where God may be leading us, and discover what we can do together to be like Jesus in this current time and place. We’ll experience a worshipful, facilitated, interactive workshop beginning at 10:10am. Breakfast snacks will be available just before and during the gathering. Everyone who calls St. Francis UMC your church home (ages 14+) is encouraged to participate. Don’t wait to hear what is decided; BE a part of the decision-making process! Childcare will be provided for our younger members. Your voice belongs in this conversation, and we look forward to seeing you in the room as we honor our past and shape our future – together!

Operation Christmas Child 2026

Our goal this year is to share God’s love with children around the world through 50 Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes! All traditional shoeboxes must be returned to the church by November 18, 2026.

We hope to collect:

  • 35 traditional shoeboxes filled with gifts and returned to the church.
  • 15 online shoeboxes created and sent through Samaritan’s Purse.

You can help us reach our goal by picking up a shoebox at church or creating one online!

Thank you for helping St. Francis share God’s love and bring joy to children around the world!
