It's World Quality Week -
This year's theme is 'Quality conscience: Doing the right thing'

World Quality Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of the quality management profession globally. This year, from 7-11 November, the focus is on quality conscience, and offers an opportunity to reflect on corporate culture.
These days, businesses and organisations are expected to expand their thoughts on corporate responsibility and to do the right thing. That means not only for the owners and customers, but also for their workers, the environment, and society in general.
New ISO 27001 information security standard released
The long awaited new version of the ISO 27001 Information Security standard has now been released. This standard is the essential model for a management system to address privacy, cyber security, and information security in general.

While the clauses are relatively unchanged in the update, the Annex A controls have been significantly modified.

ISO Gap Analysis
The first step in developing or updating a management system is to identify any gaps between what is currently in place, and the requirements of the relevant standard(s). This process is known as a Gap Analysis.

Qudos has successfully provided Gap Analysis services to a wide range of clients over many years. We can provide qualified and experienced certification auditors to perform your gap analysis against standards such as ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 45001 OHS, ISO 14001 Environment, and ISO 27001 Information Security.
IT Security Review
The Qudos Gap Analysis service can now be complemented by an IT Security Review, It's good practice for your information security arrangements to be reviewed at planned intervals, or when significant changes occur. To ensure objectivity and impartiality, those reviews should be performed by people that are independent of the area being reviewed.
In fact, such independent reviews are required for any organization seeking to be certified against the ISO 27001 Information Security standard. In the latest 2022 version of the standard, it's a requirement that's specified in Annex control A5.35.

Qudos can offer a great solution with independent reviews by qualified and experienced specialists. Contact us to discuss your needs.
