Spotlight on Upcoming Shows!

Get ready to be amazed by this year's Spring Dance Show entitled, And the Tiara Goes to... featuring the fabulous footwork of the Stairway of the Stars dancers! The show will be held at Trinity High School in River Forest on Saturday, May 31st at 7pm and Sunday, June 1st at 3pm. Get your tickets via the buttons below!

MFA Karate Students - True Tournament Champions!

Maywood Fine Arts hosted its 3rd Annual Karate Tournament on April 27th which brought out the fighting spirit in all those who participated! With parents and senseis proudly looking on from the sidelines, the students produced beautiful kata forms as well as precise jabs and focused kicks, resulting in a flurry of medals.

Here's to all who came, competed and triumphed! Can I get an enthusiastic "Kiai!?"

Our Breath - Gabe Brucato's Feature Film Promotion

Look out Spielberg, here comes Gabe Brucato!

MFA is extremely proud of Gabe Brucato, one of our talented students who is a sophomore at the Chicago Academy of the Arts. Not only is he a masterful drummer and formidable actor, but he is now demonstrating new skills as a film director!

His first feature film, "Our Breath" is in production and should premiere in late summer. Gabe pretty much wears all the hats with this film - scriptwriter, actor, editor and director! Get ready for your Oscar, Gabe!

Le Tour de Shore 2025- Let's Ride!

With just a few spots remaining for our 21st Le Tour de Shore 100-Mile Charity Bike Ride from downtown Chicago to New Buffalo, Michigan on June 13th & 14th, the question begs to be asked...what are you waiting for?! Lois Baumann will hit the road with over 600 riders, but she will stand out in the crowd with her tutu helmet securely in place. Don't miss the opportunity to peddle along beside her!
