Are you wondering if attending WPY's Partner Celebration is right for you? The answer is a resounding yes--we welcome everyone to our Partner Celebration Fundraiser! Whether you are a current supporter, curious to learn more about our work, or currently work with or care about youth in Waltham, we invite you to join us for our Partner Celebration. At this event you will have the opportunity to meet youth ambassadors, WPY staff, and the WPY Board of Directors.

Join us on Wednesday, May 27th from 5:00-7:00pm at Bentley University.

This event brings together over 150 guests from the city's educational, municipal, and business sectors to showcase the WPY partnerships that create powerful opportunities for Waltham youth. We will feature a concise, exciting speaking program, including a student speaker and keynote speaker. Funds raised at our Partner Celebration enable WPY to run programs for over 800 local students per year.

Meet our Student Speaker

Liliana Hernandez Ramirez is a sophomore at Waltham High School. She competes in track and field, volunteers at her church, and is a treasurer for the Waltham High School Class of 2028. Liliana comes from a very big and loving Guatemalan family, from whom she gets her inspiration and motivation for her goals. She has completed three internships with WPY so far: Teen Mental Health Alliance, Waltham Family School, and the Bilingual Mentoring Program at McDevitt Middle School. Liliana wants this opportunity to share her amazing experience with WPY and is honored to be a student representative for the program.

Meet our Keynote Speaker

Jennifer De Leon is the award-winning author of the young adult novels, Borderless, featured on the TODAY show, and Don’t Ask Me Where I’m From, as well as White Space: Essays on Culture, Race, & Writing. She is a speaker, presenter, and educator who loves to connect with readers of all ages.

Congratulations to our Community Impact Award Recipient!

WPY is thrilled to recognize the Waltham Family School with the 2026 WPY Community Impact Award! This award recognizes an organization that has gone above and beyond to make a positive difference in the lives of Waltham youth. WPY is so excited to celebrate our reciprocal community partnership with the Waltham Family School.
