What Does God Require of Us?
Micah 6:6-8
This week on the Fifth Sunday after Epiphany we will ask the question, “What does God Require of Us?” Many of us can recite Micah 6:8 by memory, but the answer to that question may prompt us to ask even more questions to find the answer. Join us to worship together through singing, praying, and reading scripture and then stay for fellowship at Coffee Hour in Plymouth Hall.

In a time of social unrest and ongoing struggles for justice, how can peaceful movements create lasting change? This forum draws on Erica Chenoweth’s research and book Civil Resistance to explore why nonviolent movements succeed and we as a community of faith can respond with courage and hope in public life. | | | | Stewardship: Practicing Hope on Purpose | |
Last Sunday we blessed our pledges for the 2026 operating budget.
As of Thursday, we had 162 pledges, about 72% of the number of pledges we expect. So, the Stewardship team is practicing hope on purpose – big time – that if you have not pledged yet, you will do so as soon as possible so we don’t have to pester – rather pastor – you!
Pledging needs to be all wrapped up in about a week so our budget planners can get to work. Send or bring your pledge card to the church or use the online form. With many thanks, Your Stewardship Team.
