Winter Days Are Here!

What do tigers do in the snow? What about the otters? Visit the Zoo in the off season and check in on some of your favorite animals! You can also ride the train, get a snack, feed the giraffes, and more!

This year, Winter Days are every weekend from January 11 to March 9 except March 1. They’re 11 am-4 pm, last entry at 3:30.

Winter Days are FREE for Zoo Members. Regular admission is discounted to $12 for adults and $10 for children. Babies 2 and under are free.

Kids Love Learning!

Spring classes are now available for all ages. Preschoolers (ages 3-4) can attend with a caretaker, and older children can attend by themselves.

Class topics vary by age and date, so check our website to find the right class for your child!

Homeschool classes for ages 6-8 and 9-12 are also available.

A Class Just For Adults

If you’ve ever been curious about how the male reproductive system works in nature, and all its weird and wild varieties, this class is for you!

This February, the Curious Conservationists class will be exploring an (often) hidden side of nature. The class includes a themed cocktail, animal ambassador visitors, games, and more.

Naughty Nature is February 16 from 2 to 4 pm. It’s $25 per person. Zoo Members receive a 10% discount when logged in.

Reading Fun For Kids

Take a reading break at the Zoo! Bring your little one (0-2 years old) to listen to stories and meet an ambassador animal! You and your little one will leave this 20-minute program feeling giddy about animals and excited to read!

Program begins promptly at 9:30 am and will take place indoors. Spots are limited.

Zoo Bookworms is the third Monday of each month. It’s $5 and includes a caregiver and child. This program does not include admission to the Zoo. Zoo Members get 10% off when logged in.

Winter Days Animal Encounters

Have you always wanted to meet a sloth? Or see a tamandua up close? You can! We have animal encounters every Sunday during Winter Days. The sloth encounter is at 12 pm and the tamandua encounter is at 1 pm. Tickets are $25 per person.
